Future City Accelerator
Future City Accelerator is an entrepreneurial accelerator program under the Smart Change initiative, implemented by enpact. The goal of the program is to empower entrepreneurs, corporates and government institutions to conjointly solve city challenges with exciting selling points of proximity to policy makers. The program offers access to international and local mentor networks as well as specially designed business training through experts and coaches.
Future City Accelerator is running 3 innovation challenges with topics surrounding urban challenges & smart city to enable a cross-sectoral collaboration and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Jakarta
Innovation Challenge 1: Smart Mobility
MRTJ Innovation Challenge: create an innovation and growth ecosystem to transform Smart Mobility in Jakarta through synergy with the MRTJ ecosystem to encourage the commercialization of products or services
Innovation Challenge 2: Smart Economy
SMEs Digitalization and Internationalization: growth in local brands & the creative industries economy retail ecosystem and support professional development of SMEs and job creation via market access training and landing pad to Berlin.
Innovation Challenge 3: Smart People
JAKI Innovation Challenge: Open API challenge to increase JAKI users, engagement, retention, and integrate services in Jakarta. Challenge winners will be invited to Berlin (delegation trip or AB Summit)
MRTJ Accel X Future City Accelerator
MRTJ Accel x Future City Accelerator (FCA): MRTJ Innovation Challenge is established to transform Smart Mobility in Jakarta and accelerate its innovation efforts on a human-centered mobility ecosystem through synergy with the MRT Jakarta ecosystem.
The objective of this program is to create partnership with startups develop and launch new commercial innovative products/services that will benefit both parties to increase revenue, branding, and customer experience. By accessing the MRT Jakarta ecosystem, startups can develop new ideas of use case and implement it during the program.
An acceleration program hosted by PT MRT Jakarta to collaborate with start-ups to create innovative products or services with the end goal of commercializing together with MRT Jakarta

Hypelokal Awards
Hypelokal Awards is created by HypeFast in partnership with Future City Accelerator, Forbes Indonesia, and The Habibie Center as an event to celebrate leading local brands in the region for their contribution to the national creative industries economy, and continues our commitment to support local brands as well as supercharge their growth into the next level.
The objective of this program is to:- celebrate the best local brands in Indonesia for their contribution to the national economy
- provide a new platform for networking and learning for Local Brand founders
- showcase achievements of local brands within their respective categories
- expose local brand founders for future development and expansion
Established in January 2020, Hypefast acquires best eCommerce-native brands in the region and hyper-grow them into global category leaders. Hypefast is backed by SEA’s top VC and have presences in Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
