Online Platform And Annual Conferences

An online platform is currently developed to support all of our activities as well as complement the web activities of Jakarta Smart City, creating a one-stop shop for all relevant information and opportunities for online as well as offline participation, and support for urban innovation. Establishing the online platform enables local and international awareness, serving to expedite all efforts to achieve the agreed upon outcomes, considering the sustainability of physical constraints and practices in the resulting activities. The online platform will support global representation and interaction, and the engagement of all community stakeholders.

As an annual highlight, our online conference focuses on pressing challenges regarding smart city governance and urban innovation in Jakarta, allowing the exchange of local and international expertise for further collaboration. In 2020, speakers from multiple Jakarta city departments joined sessions with experts from Berlin, Bangkok, Zurich, Singapore as well as Rotterdam and engaged with more than 350 participants.
