A unique collaboration between Jakarta, Berlin, and Bangkok to empower Smart City and Urban Innovation ecosystems.

Our Mission

The Jakarta Provincial Government and the State Government of Berlin are jointly implementing the “Smart Change - Strengthening Urban Governance, Prosperity and Innovation in Jakarta” project, funded by the European Union, to foster innovative solutions for urban sustainability. The project also features cooperation with the city of Bangkok to promote the exchange of good practice and thus, sustainability, throughout the region.

All three cities are committed to improving integrated urban development through their partnership. The partnership supports the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by accelerating digital transformation and supporting the Smart City 4.0 transformation program of Jakarta.
